FONT FRIDAY - LAROSA SANS

Welcome to another edition of Font Friday; where I gush over a font the way most women gush about shoes or fashion. My obsession with fonts is epic, and the best part is that fonts don’t take up any room in my closet. Erm, let’s not talk about the fact that I’m constantly closing out warnings about my laptops RAM space….

Anyway, today I bring you Larosa Sans. This pretty is hitting so many trends in just one happy font family.

You’ve got a clean sans serif font, different line weights, a variety of stylistic ligatures and alternates, as well as the raised “o” thingy with the star or circle under it. I mean, is this font missing any trends there? I think not.

My first thought for Larosa is that it would be lovely as a logo, header text, or a couple’s name in wedding invitations. Since the customization is what sets this font apart, it lends itself well to designs that showcase a short word or phrase. The strength of Larosa is that it truly is a display font.

You can buy Larosa Sans for just $21 on Creative Market, and if you’d like something similar, but a little different, check out Rosie, Marisa, and Karin - all by the same creator of Larosa.
