FONT FRIDAY - LIEBEHEIDE

Welcome to another edition of Font Friday; where I gush over a font the way most women gush about shoes or fashion. My obsession with fonts is epic, and the best part is that fonts don’t take up any room in my closet. Although I have had to buy additional cloud storage space just for my font library.

Anyway, today I bring you LiebeHeide. I love pretty much every font that Ulrike Rausch, the designer behind Liebe Fonts, creates. They are all so well-done, and absolutely draw me in. I love this ballpoint pen font, that uses new features such as the “color type” functionality. To be honest, I haven’t had a chance to play around with it a lot yet, but after watching a few demos, I cannot wait to give it a go.

My favorite thing about LiebeHeide might be all the fun glyphs and alternatives that truly make this font seem hand written. There’s been such a huge trend lately for calligraphy style fonts, but I love that this one looks like you could have actually picked up a pen and written a note on a piece of paper. I can totally see myself using this font to write customer notes for The Everyday Mother - it’s the perfect personal touch, without being incredible time consuming.

For The Everyday Mother, we offer a series of Gift Experiences that include hand-written notes. We’ve typically written these truly by hand, which has worked well for the past few years. As we’ve grown, though, it’s become a time-consuming task. We’ve kept with the hand-writing because it feels so personal, and I love that touch. But I think LiebeHeide might be our answer! It’s the perfect font that ties automation with personalization, and I am HERE FOR IT!

You can buy LiebeHeide on Creative Market for just $19.
